Format

Summer in New York is a beautifully elegant midi length dress ideal for warm summer days. Darts, tucks and a concealed zip provide shaping and fit whilst the loose wide sleeves and side splits give a lovely relaxed vibe.

Accessorised with heels this will be the perfect dress for a summer wedding or alternatively, lengthen into a maxi dress for a more glamorous/evening look. For a relaxed, everyday feel we love to team with flip flops and one of our beautifully illustrated tote bags.

Sewing level

Summer in New York is suitable for intermediate sewers who have mastered a number of sewing techniques or confident beginners with a number of dressmaking projects under their belt.

Sizes 20 -26 you will need 3 metres of 60” (150 cm) wide fabric

Summer in New York will work with any light to medium weight woven fabric with lots of drape such as crepe, linen and rayon.

Pattern format

Printed pattern

Your printed pattern will be accompanied by an easy to follow step-by-step instruction booklet both packaged together in an eco-friendly cotton bag. We aim to despatch all printed patterns within 1 - 3 days. For further details please refer to the information in our delivery and returns section.

PDF pattern

As soon as you have completed the checkout process and payment has been confirmed you will receive an email containing a link for you to download. The link will contain:

  • your pattern which can be printed at home on A4 or US letter paper
  • easy to follow step-by-step instructions
  • an A0 size copy shop file of the pattern which you can have printed at your local printers.

The pattern can be downloaded a maximum of three times.
